We made our way to check out the pool and was almost knocked over by a drunk pool party guest and security yelling after him. We were checked in by a young lady who could not answer our questions about when the pool party would end and in the back round another front desk clerk was rudely yelling at a man trying to check in. We walked into the Lobby only to be greeted by security who could not control the party goers spilling all onto the property. From the minute we drove in we were disappointed, the parking lot was filled with very rowdy and drunk frat kids that come for the pool parties the hotel has EVERY weekend and ALL day, starting in May, allowing people who are not guests into the pool area. Great host great visit!ĭo not be fooled by the wesite photos, it was a complete deception. I will return when the airfare goes on sale again. My visit was for 4 nights and I was able to hit a 10 times points day, love those days, so before I left I visited their shop and bought with my points, from Harrahs Rincon and visits to other Harrahs casinos an IPad Air. The only drawback is CA law that they can not give free drinks and the drinks a expensive, I only had three drafts when they were on special for $3.00 each. The casino is very big and has all of the fun slots that I liked. The lobster mack and cheese was wonderful and big enough for two. My food took forever and the bar tender felt so bad about it that he would not charge me for the meal. That was fun talking to others traveling alone. The steak and seafood reset rant was very crowded so they let me set at the Barton eat with other singles. As buffets go it was good and I am not a buffet lover.

Outside of the elevator is a little toco stand and I fell in love with their fish toco! Make just a few points on the slots (I think it was about 40) and you receive a free buffet. The hotel is beautiful, I stayed in a spa suite. I did not to rent a car and drive in a new city or across the mountains. It was my first visit and I called to get a casino host there, so he set up a car to pick me up upon my arrival. When you fly in to San Diego Airpot it is about a 50 mile drive to Harrahs Rincon.
